World Cerebral Palsy Day 💚

Every year, the month of October is recognized as Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month by more than 60 countries around the world.
Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a neurological condition that affects muscle tone, movement and motor skills, making coordinated and purposeful movement difficult. It can also impact essential functions such as breathing, swallowing, speech, bladder and bowel control, as well as sensory abilities like vision, hearing and touch.

It is important to emphasize that Cerebral Palsy is not a disease, but a group of symptoms caused by damage to the parts of the brain responsible for motor control. Globally, an estimated 17 million people live with CP, while more than 6,000 babies are diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy each year in Türkiye.

Raising Awareness Together

As the Çizgi Teknoloji family, we embraced the color green—the symbol of renewal and the official color of Cerebral Palsy—on October 6, World Cerebral Palsy Day to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with individuals and families affected by CP.

Building on our commitment, we continue to support SERÇEV (Association for Children with Cerebral Palsy) through our participation in the Istanbul Marathon and our 26th anniversary donation, helping provide better opportunities for education, therapy and social participation.
